Counseling for Depression
Thoughts and feelings of depression can be discouraging, but you don’t have to live this way!
Common Thoughts & Feelings
“I woke up this morning and the first thing I felt were tears running down my cheeks. I miss being happy, satisfied, peaceful, joyful, and living my life with a sense of purpose. It took everything in me to get out of bed, get ready, and get on with my day. I don’t enjoy things like I used to. I know what I need to do to feel better, but I don’t have the energy or the motivation to do them. I have not been working out and eating the way I should, and I don’t feel good. I used to be in a better place; physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. I used to be happy. I am a Christian; Is it normal to feel like this?”

If you have had thoughts like these, let me introduce myself and some ways I can help you. My name is Hope and for 19 years I have been helping individuals work through their depressive thoughts and feelings by helping them learn how to decrease and manage depression and experience peace, joy, and purpose in their lives.
Sadness and a loss of interest in things we used to enjoy can affect how we think, feel, and behave. This can negatively impact our day-to-day activities such as: school and work performance, social interactions, and maintaining relationships with those closest to us.
Counseling can help you identify underlying causes that may be contributing to your depressive thoughts. It can teach you proven methods for exploring new ways of thinking and applying a healthy perspective.
Contact me today and let’s explore how counseling can help you finally make the changes you have longed to make but until now, have been unsure how.
“You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, 'I have lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along.' You must do the thing you think you cannot do.”
