Counseling for Anxiety
Many of us struggle with anxiety, but it does not have to run our lives.
Common Thoughts & Feelings
“I wish my anxiety would go away. I can’t stop worrying about things. Sometimes it’s hard to breathe and I feel like I have an elephant sitting on my chest. My heart rate is through the roof, and I feel on edge and keyed up. I don’t want to, but I keep lashing out at people around me. Even my family. I wish I would stop doing that. I love my family. I just can’t seem to get myself together. Sometimes I don’t even know what I’m worrying about.I know I’m not alone, but I feel like I’m alone.I don’t have time for this. I have to get things done. I go to bed hoping a good nights rest will help. I toss and turn all night only to get up the next morning and start the same cycle over again. I am a Christian; I know what the Bible says about worrying, but I just can’t stop.”
