A safe place to talk about real problems with a trained professional counselor who shares your Christian faith.
Counseling for individuals and couples.
Welcome to Hope Seay Counseling
Do you want to feel better? Have you lost your joy? Are you longing to have fulfilling relationships that people around you seem to be experiencing? Maybe you have tried everything you know to do, even counseling, and while things were better for a while, you find yourself falling back into the same pattern.
Counseling can help get you back on track!
My name is Hope and I provide Christian counseling to individuals and couples who want to integrate their faith into their care. I specialize in Christian counseling, couples therapy, grief counseling, anxiety, depression, and life-changes.
You don’t have to choose between therapy and your Christian faith, in fact, when they are combined they can bring the hope and healing you want. You can heal from your past, stop fearing the future, and learn to live in the present moment with peace and happiness.
Reaching out for counseling does not mean your faith in God is weak or there is something wrong with you. Meeting with a professional counselor who shares your Christian faith can provide a safe place for you to be authentic as you unpack your thoughts and feelings in a non-judgmental, warm, and empathetic environment.
Whether you have been to counseling before or are just starting, my aim is that you feel safe, heard, cared for and appropriately challenged during our visits.
Welcome from Hope.

Common Thoughts & Feelings
“I feel lonely and unhappy. I have got to make some changes. I can't go on living like this. Feeling like this is starting to affect my relationships with my family and friends. I want to change and I have tried everything I know to do, even counseling, but I can't seem to make the changes stick. Sometimes I feel better, but it does not last. I am a Christian; is it normal for me to feel like this?”

My wife and I used to have fun together but recently she keeps crying and getting angry and I have no idea why. She tells me how she feels and I try to understand and do better, but we keep going through the same cycle.

My husband and I keep getting in arguments. We work through them and things get better. Then we have the same argument about the same things again. He gets quiet and I feel hurt, angry, and alone. It is a vicious cycle. Other couples don’t seem to be having any trouble. What’s wrong with us?

Hi, I’m Hope!
If these thoughts describe you, let me introduce myself and how I can help you. My name is Hope and for 19 years I have been helping individuals and couples achieve their goals, overcome their struggles, and live a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
We can work together to help equip you with the necessary tools to help you overcome challenges. Whether you want to explore couples therapy, you’re struggling with anxiety, dealing with depression, experiencing grief, or going through a significant life-change , it is important you know that while each of these experiences are very real and can bring with them pain and discouragement, how you are feeling does not have to define how you think and feel the rest of your life!
You can learn and apply tools, concepts, and techniques that can help you achieve the changes you seek.
People’s experiences, stories, lives, personalities, preferences, and reasons for coming to counseling vary, therefore I tailor our sessions to address and treat challenges unique to you. We will work together to understand the root cause of your struggles and address those issues with long-lasting strategies, helping you get closer to the life you’ve always wanted.
Counseling can help you heal from your past, stop fearing your future, and learn to live in the present moment with peace and happiness!
